Acne Scar Treatment Fractional Radiofrequency micro-needling (MNRF) treatment of acne scars is a revolutionary method of acne scar revision. This method of scar revision does not use laser-light interactions, but uses radiofrequency energy to remodel collagen and scars. It is safe for all skin colours. It causes breaks down of the scar tissue, with minimal damage to the upper layers of skin.
This process is gentle, and has very little, if any downtime. It can be used as a stand-alone treatment for certain types or acne scars, or it can be combined with anti-acne treatments such as subcision, dermabrasion, fillers, punch elevation, punch excision, CROSS, Microdermabrasion, PRP as well as other laser treatments such as CO2 and Er:YAG Laser. |
MNRFMicroneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) is a minimally invasive new-age technology that combines traditional micro-needling procedure with radio frequency energy to improve the skin texture, rejuvenate the skin and create tissue volumization.
By delivering heat energy to the dermis and underlying layers, MNRF causes tissue tightening and stimulates collagen and elastin production. MNRF helps in visibly reducing acne scars, dullness, open pores, sagging skin, stretch marks and wrinkles. MNRF device bypasses the skin’s surface and energy is delivered directly to the collagen-producing dermis, thereby reducing the risk of post-treatment pigmentation. The result is a nearly painless procedure with minimal to no downtime. |
Skin Resurfacing treatmentResurfacing is a treatment to remove acne and chicken pox scars, and changes in the skin due to ageing. In our clinic Carbon dioxide laser and Microneedling radiofrenquency device (MNRF) are used for skin resurfacing. Carbon dioxide laser resurfacing may greatly improve atrophic scars caused by acne, trauma, or surgery. Deeper pitted acne scars often require ancillary procedures for optimal results, such as excision or punch grafting. These procedures can be performed either prior to or concomitant with carbon dioxide laser resurfacing.

Chemical PeelingA chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated, and scarring can be improved. Chemicals peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. It is also safe and effective at skin whitening, lightening brown spots, reducing dark circles, melasma, treating acne as well as acne induced pigmentation.
Advanced Peels such as: Cosmelan peel Acnelan Peel Black Peel Yellow Peel ISCLINICAL Fire and Ice Peel, etc are very much available at NKSkin Centre. Do Try our Signature NKSKIN Glow peel a night before an event or Party. |
HydraFacialA HydraFacial is a treatment that uses patented technology (a medical-grade device) to cleanse, extract, and hydrate skin. It clears dead skin cells, loosens pores, and preps them for extraction using a mix of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and botanical extracts. Then, it uses a unique vacuum-powered extraction method to remove “gunk” from the skin in a virtually painless procedure.
It’s all made possible thanks to a double-helix vortex treatment wand. One chamber of the wand draws dead skin cells and dirt from the skin while the other pumps the skin full of soothing nutrients (hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and growth factors). Basically, your skin is freshly cleared for deeper penetration. It’s essentially a peel, microdermabrasion, and hydrating mask all in one. More extensive HydraFacial treatments can also include features such as:

BotoxBotulinum Toxin, a neurotoxin in the form of a purified protein. The mechanism of action for Botulinum Toxin is really quite simple; it is injected into facial muscles but really doesn’t affect the muscle at all. Botulinum Toxin works by blocking the transmitters between the motor nerves that innervate the muscle.
The areas typically treated with Botulinum Toxin for wrinkles are the forehead, between the eyes (glabellar region), around the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet) and around the lips (smokers lines or gummy smile). There is no loss of sensory feeling in the muscles. Once the motor nerve endings are interrupted, the muscle cannot contract, causing wrinkles in the skin to smooth. The effects of Botulinum Toxin ( last approximately three to four months, at which time the patient will require retreatment. |
FillersDermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. More than 1 million men and women annually have choose this popular facial rejuvenation treatment, which can be a cost-effective way to look younger without surgery or downtime.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. It helps keep skin plump and hydrated. HA fillers are typically soft and gel-like. The results are temporary, lasting 6 to 12 months or longer before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. FDA approved HA fillers include:

Platelet rich plasma (PRP for Skin Rejuvenation)A PRP Facial, also known as a vampire facial, is an advanced skincare treatment method that harnesses your body's own natural power to heal itself. It is often called a vampire facial because it involves drawing your blood. Traditional microneedling is used to treat everything from wrinkles to scarring and certain forms of hyperpigmentation. PRP may boost these effects and help you achieve your desired results faster.
The Vambooty procedure is an innovative natural cosmetic procedure using your body's' own healing ability to revitalize your butt. Whether you have stretch marks, scars, loose skin (laxity) or dimpling, this procedure will reduce the unsightly appearance and tighten the skin. |
ThreadliftThread lifts have become a minimally invasive alternative to the facelift for patients who are not ready to undergo more aggressive treatment options. Although the effects from a thread lift will be temporary and not as dramatic as a facelift, improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles can be seen gradually as the procedure stimulates natural collagen production. PDO sutures are a type of material used for thread lifts. PDO, which stands for polydioxanone, is an absorbable polymer that is flexible and durable for minimally invasive thread lifts. PDO thread lifts, sometimes referred to as PDS thread lifts, come in a variety of textures. There are three main textures of PDO sutures: mono, cog, and screw threads. Mono threads are singular, smooth sutures that are anchored to the face that provide a small lift to the face. Cog threads have a barbed texture that provide better lift and increased collagen production. Screw threads have 1-2 intertwined threads which provide volume to the treated area. For patients who only desire skin tightening and rejuvenation, mono threads may be sufficient. Patients who desire more lifting and volume will better benefit from textured cog or screw threads.

Intralesional InjectionIntralesional injections are standard treatment for many skin diseases including keloid, alopecia areata and circumscribed plaques of dermatitis.
The rationale for intralesional therapy is simple: to deliver a medication directly into a specific skin lesion to treat local tissues with minimal systemic effects. The skin also serves as a reservoir, allowing medication deposited in the dermis to be delivered over a period of time, resulting in prolonged therapy while avoiding or minimizing the adverse effects of systemic therapy. |
Allergy TestPatch testing is generally done to see whether a particular substance is causing allergic skin inflammation (contact dermatitis). Patch tests can detect delayed allergic reactions, which can take several days to develop.
Patch tests don't use needles. Instead, allergens are applied to patches, which are then placed on your skin. During a patch test, your skin may be exposed to 20 extracts of substances that can cause contact dermatitis. These can include latex, medications, fragrances, preservatives, hair dyes, metals and resins. You wear the patches on your arm or back for 48 hours. During this time, you should avoid bathing and activities that cause heavy sweating. The patches are removed when you return to your doctor's office. Irritated skin at the patch site may indicate an allergy. |
HAIR
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)PRP therapy for hair loss is a three-step medical treatment in which a patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp. PRP injections trigger natural hair growth and maintain it by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle and increasing the thickness of the hair shaft. Sometimes this approach is combined with other hair loss procedures or medications.

Hairtransplantation (FUE)Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is one of two primary methods of obtaining hair follicles, naturally occurring groups of one to four hairs, for hair transplantation. The other method is called strip harvesting.
At NK Skin Hair and Laser Centre Hair Transplantation is done by a team of experienced Plastic Surgeon, Anaesthetist and Dermatologist. The centre has one of the finest and sterile fully equipped 400sq feet Operation Theatre. |
MesotherapyMesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.
Michel Pistor, a doctor in France, developed the technique in 1952. It was originally used to relieve pain. In the years since, it has gained popularity in the United States and other parts of the world. Today, mesotherapy is used to:

LLLTLow-level laser therapy — also referred to as red light therapy and cold laser therapy — irradiates photons into scalp tissues. These photons are absorbed by weak cells to encourage hair growth.
It’s widely accepted that the procedure is safe, tolerable, and less invasive than hair transplant surgery or PRP. The theory of laser treatment for hair loss is that the low-dose laser treatments invigorate circulation and stimulation that encourages hair follicles to grow hair. |
