Pityriasis Rosea (PR) is a common, harmless and non contagious skin problem resulting in a rash. Usually triggered by previous viral infection. It starts from a single, scaling spot, the "mother lesion" often appearing 1-20 days before the general rash "daughter lesions" which covers mainly the trunk but may spread to the thighs, upper arms, and neck. Itching may be associated and usually the rash lasts 6-8 weeks.
Treatment Options:
