Rosacea is a relatively common inflammatory dermatosis in persons with fair skin. It is especially noticeable on the nose, cheeks, mid-forehead and chin with pimples, bumps, small visible blood vessels (telangiectasias) , and irritated eyes or flushing. The redness may come and go and mild itching or burning may occur. Common trigger factors are: exercise, sun exposure, hot weather, hot baths, stress, spicy foods or alcohol.
